Himalayan Balsam, 6pm, Fri 5th Aug

To those interested in gathering tasty edible seeds out of amazing exciting exploding pods of Himalayan Balsam, the time has come!
Meet at Hounslow Heath in the main car park on Staines Rd at 6pm, Fri 5th Aug and we will be walking to the golf course (it is public right of way) where the pink balsam flowers grow near the water,  There are lots!

Bring clear plastic bags to catch the seeds in if you can, and something to drink and eat. If you feel like having a picnic it’s a lovely place.  I’m planning to be there till it gets too dark at about 9.
If people can’t make this one, I’m up for another in a few weeks time -TBC
RSVP if you can – communityfoodgrowers@gmail.com
see you there!

(Kat, I’ve put this up for you but do try to get ‘on the website’ as per my email. Trevor)
